 After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Calvary Chapel, Orange was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  an  18-2 margin over the Saddleback Roadrunners. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Orange considering their two-run performance the  match before.
  SCARLETT POITRA and  LEANN VELASQUEZ were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  POITRA   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Meanwhile,  VELASQUEZ   pitched three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits. At the plate,  POITRA  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  stolen base, while  VELASQUEZ  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Orange got a  massive  performance out of  MADYSON VALERIO, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  VALENTINA MORALES, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-1.
 Orange's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 8-6. As for Saddleback, they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-13.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orange will take on Costa Mesa at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams will come into the  contest having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes. As for Saddleback, they will be playing at home against Calvary Chapel at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Calvary Chapel is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.2  runs per game  this season.
