Basketball Recap: Doane Academy Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Doane Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Bordentown Scotties on Thursday, falling 58-24. The defeat continues a trend for Doane Academy in their matchups with Bordentown: they've now lost three in a row.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Doane Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Burlington City at 3:45 p.m. on December 30th. Bordentown and Lindenwold will round out the year against one another at on December 27th.
