Basketball Recap: Parkville's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin, Parkville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They escaped with a win against the Woodlawn Warriors by the margin of a single free throw, 39-38. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Parkville's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-11. As for Woodlawn, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Parkville will challenge Lansdowne at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodlawn, they will square off against Owings Mills at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Woodlawn is facing Owings Mills at the right time seeing as Owings Mills is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
