Football Game Recap: Ascension Christian vs. Benjamin Franklin

After losing to Ascension Christian the last time they met, Benjamin Franklin decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Benjamin Franklin enjoyed a cozy 41-24 victory over Ascension Christian. The success made it back-to-back wins for Benjamin Franklin.

Benjamin Franklin's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 27 points in the first half. Ascension Christian came up with 6 to make it 27-6 heading into the break. Benjamin Franklin were outperformed in the second half 14-18 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The game brought them to 2-0 and dropped Ascension Christian to a mirror-image 0-2.

Benjamin Franklin looks to establish their home field advantage next week as they take on Haynes Academy at 4:00 PM. As for Ascension Christian, they will face off against Houma Christian.
