Council Rock North lost to Pennsbury last Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Indians came out on top in a nail-biter against the Falcons, sneaking past 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Council Rock North's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Book, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Book also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Council Rock North's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4. As for Pennsbury, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Council Rock North is set to square off against their familiar foe Neshaminy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Pennsbury will take on rival Council Rock South at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 3.5, the Golden Hawks 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
