Softball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Ottawa Hills

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Notre Dame Academy). They never let the Ottawa Hills Green Bears get on the board and left with a 28-0 win on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

Notre Dame Academy got a massive performance out of Madi Hager, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those six RBI gave Hager a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lily Phillips, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Notre Dame Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .783. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Notre Dame Academy's record now sits at 6-8. As for Ottawa Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
