Putnam came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against Lyman Memorial, but Kevin Botticello wouldn't allow it. The Lyman Memorial Bulldogs slipped by the Putnam Clippers 63-62 on Tuesday thanks in part to Botticello, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 14 rebounds. His evening made it 13 games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Bobbi, who posted 11 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Several Clippers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was NICHOLAS DEVLIN, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 16 points and five boards. DEVLIN continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. JAMISON PROULX was another key player, putting up 14 points and eight steals.

Lyman Memorial's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-19. As for Putnam, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lyman Memorial beat Putnam by a score of 51-40 on Wednesday.
