Volleyball Recap: Crystal Lake Central's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over + How To Watch

Crystal Lake Central had taken Jacobs down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Crystal Lake Central was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14.

Alexis Hadeler paced Crystal Lake Central's offense, picking up six kills. Hadeler got some help from Katie Piech and her nine assists.
