With a playoff win on the line, West Boca Raton rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Braddock Bulldogs as they made off with a 9-1 win.

Megan Brockmann was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.
