Softball Recap: Boscobel Comes Up Short

Boscobel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Mineral Point Pointers, falling 17-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pointers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 back in April.

Boscobel's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Mineral Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Boscobel didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 19-1 loss against Hillsboro on the 6th. As for Mineral Point, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Cuba City on the 6th.
