Softball Recap: Orange Park Comes Up Short

Orange Park lost against Ridgeview back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders came up short against the Panthers, falling 12-3. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Orange Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoe Pascoe, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Addison Toledo also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Orange Park's record now sits at 3-14. As for Ridgeview, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orange Park will welcome Beachside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ridgeview, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against University Christian at 6:00 p.m. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Christians have averaged an impressive 11.5 runs per game this season.
