Football Recap: LaVille Takes a Loss

LaVille extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-4. They took a blow against the Knox Redskins, falling 62-16. The Lancers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.

Several Lancers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brayden Schwitz, who threw for 128 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 52 yards on only five carries.

As for Knox, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 48.0 points this season.

Myles McLaughlin produced another solid performance rushing for 457 yards and seven scores while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. Those 457 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Victor Beaucahmp made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
