With a playoff game on the line, North Posey rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the South Spencer Rebels. The victory was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on ten straight.
While North Posey might've won, it sure wasn't easy: South Spencer scored at least 16 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 25-16.
Mallory Luigs was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 12 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last 17 games she's played dating back to last season.
North Posey has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. As for South Spencer, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-20.
North Posey will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Evansville Mater Dei at 11:00 a.m. South Spencer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
