Telfair County triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Zah'Mya McDuffie

Recap: Telfair County Trojans vs. Vidalia Indians
The Telfair County Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 68-60 victory over Vidalia. With that win, Telfair County brought their scoring average up to 52 points per game.
Zah'Mya McDuffie continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 32 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. McDuffie is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Marshall, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Telfair County's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Vidalia, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
Telfair County and Treutlen will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Vidalia, they will head out on the road to face off against Brantley County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brantley County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
