Baseball Recap: De La Salle Meteors vs. Fenwick Friars
De La Salle extended their losing streak to 12 on Monday, dropping their season record down to 6-13 in the process. They took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fenwick Friars. Even if the Meteors couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
Jenaro Negron was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
As for Fenwick, their win bumped their record up to 8-9-1. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
