Softball Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for West Point's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Tolleson Wolverines on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Dragons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

West Point's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Tolleson, their record now sits at 15-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. West Point will face off against Desert Ridge at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Tolleson, they will square off against Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines are facing the Jackrabbits at the right time seeing as the Jackrabbits are stuck on a 19-game losing streak.
