Basketball Recap: Warrenton Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Warrenton Warriors didn't have quite enough to beat the Brunswick Wildcats and fell 50-47. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 245th, while the Wildcats are ranked 81st).

This is the second loss in a row for Warrenton and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Brunswick, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warrenton will face off against Orchard Farm at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Brunswick, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Norborne at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
