Regis Jesuit has gone 6-1 against Mullen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Regis Jesuit Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the Mullen Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Saturday.

Mullen is hoping to do what Chatfield couldn't on Wednesday: put an end to Regis Jesuit's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Regis Jesuit was the clear victor by a 66-43 margin over Chatfield. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Chargers are ranked 132nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tiana Rogers and Jane Rumpf were among the main playmakers for Regis Jesuit as the former dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds and the latter went 8 of 17 on her way to 20 points and six boards. Rumpf is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Alice Lynett, who posted a point in addition to 13 boards and three blocks.

Regis Jesuit smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mullen, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. Everything went their way against Northfield on Thursday as Mullen made off with a 57-32 win. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Regis Jesuit has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Mullen, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Regis Jesuit didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Mullen in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 66-60 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Mullen's Makenzie Jones, who almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine rebounds.
