Recap: Freedom Christian Academy Patriots vs. Berean Baptist Academy Bulldogs

After a string of three wins, the Freedom Christian Academy Patriots's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 67-60 to Berean Baptist Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Karsten Swinney, who scored 17 points along with three steals. Swinney hasn't dropped below two steals for 15 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Leo Sock, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.

Berean Baptist Academy found their leader in underclassman Josiah Sanders, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. Sanders also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Briceson Martin, who scored 14 points along with two steals.

Freedom Christian Academy now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Berean Baptist Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-15 record this season.

Trinity Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matchups -- so hopefully Berean Baptist Academy likes a good challenge.
