Baseball Recap: Kelso Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Kelso and Mountain View, and Kelso kept the tradition alive. The Hilanders won by a run and slipped past the Thunder 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Hilanders: when they faced off against the Thunder on Tuesday, they had to take a 8-7 defeat.

Kelso's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mountain View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hilanders 3, the Falcons 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
