Rancho Bernardo blew Oceanside out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Oceanside got their revenge. The Broncos fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 24-21. The loss was the Broncos' first of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Rancho Bernardo lost, don't look at Gaige Weddle.
