East Central has been away from home for three games now, but on Friday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the Roncalli Royals at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in East Central's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.

East Central's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-0 win over Greensburg on the road. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 21 points or more this season.

East Central found their leader in underclassman Ryan Minges, who rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Minges' longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Ethan Feldkamp was another key player, gaining 96 total yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Roncalli faced Cathedral in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Roncalli was outmatched by Cathedral on the road and fell 35-6. The Royals haven't had much luck with the Fighting Irish recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

East Central's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Roncalli, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Minges and Zach Dozier. Minges has put up some stellar numbers this year, and currently owns excellent season averages 114 rushing yards per game this season. For his part, Dozier has averaged 88.3 rushing yards per game this season.
