Baseball Recap: Gallatin Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

While Gallatin didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Providence Christian Academy LIONS a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Green Wave have won by just one run.

Gallatin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. Providence Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

Looking ahead, Gallatin will square off against Northeast at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Providence Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Briarcrest Christian on the 27th.
