Volleyball Game Preview: Huntington North Vikings vs. Homestead Spartans

Huntington North hasn't had much luck against Homestead recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Vikings will square off against the Spartans at 12:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Huntington North is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Norwell, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since April 30th.

Meanwhile, Homestead had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Braves as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Huntington North is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season. As for Homestead, their win bumped their record up to 27-5.

Huntington North suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Homestead in their previous meeting back in March.
