Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Tigers vs. Crockett Bulldogs

Trinity is on a 12-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Crockett a nine-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Trinity Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Crockett Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Trinity fell victim to Coldspring-Oakhurst and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 12-0.

Trinity saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jace Gambill, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Crockett lost 16-2 to Anderson-Shiro on Friday.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Crockett, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Trinity took their victory against Crockett in their previous meeting back in April of 2018 by a conclusive 15-5 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
