Volleyball Recap: Hancock County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Hancock County was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Cosby on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Claiborne Bulldogs on Monday. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Hancock County couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. The final score came out to 25-12, 27-25, 23-25, 26-24.

Hancock County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Claiborne, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Hancock County is taking a road trip to challenge Independent Athletic Ministries at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Claiborne, they will host Grainger at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Grizzlies at the right time seeing as the Grizzlies are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
