Baseball Recap: Windham Takes a Loss

Windham fell victim to Killingly and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 21-0 to the Redmen. The Whippets haven't had much luck with the Redmen recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Windham's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Killingly, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windham will welcome Griswold at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Killingly, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Plainfield at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.67 runs per game on average), something the Redmen will no doubt try to take advantage of.
