Angel Armenta, Walden Grove's leader in total tackles on the season, led the team again on Friday. Nobody could stop Armenta as he picked up a sack, made 11 total tackles (1.5 for loss), and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception. Armenta is crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least seven every time he's taken the field this season.

Looking ahead, Armenta and Walden Grove will venture away from home to face off against Vista Grande at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will enter the matchup having just beaten Desert Sunrise, so the Red Wolves will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
