Baseball Game Preview: Oakwood Owls vs. Milken Wildcats

For the second straight game, Oakwood will face off against Milken. The Owls will head out on the road to challenge the Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Oakwood took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Milken get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Owls in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

For Milken's part, they got a good showing from Aidan Pereg, who pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Pereg has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.

Oakwood's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-5.
