Tri-Valley scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost to the Sullivan West Bulldogs on the road by a 70-56 margin. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Tri-Valley is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Sullivan West, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Livingston Manor at 2:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Sullivan West, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
