Baseball Recap: Nitro Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Nitro's offense. They came up short against the St. Albans Red Dragons on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Nitro dropped their record down to 2-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for St. Albans, they moved to 13-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Nitro will square off against Sissonville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Albans, they will face off against Cabell Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
