Baseball Recap: White Knoll Takes a Loss

White Knoll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Blythewood Bengals, falling 9-3. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bengals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2017.

White Knoll saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremy Powell, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another was Dillon Woods, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

White Knoll's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Blythewood, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White Knoll will host Irmo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blythewood, they will be playing at home against West Florence at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
