Basketball Game Preview: Grayson County Blue Devils vs. Radford Bobcats

The Grayson County Blue Devils and the Radford Bobcats will round out the year against one another at at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

After dropping their season opener at home, Radford is headed out to face a Blue Devils team ready to give their home crowd a win. Grayson County fell 37-30 to Eastern Montgomery on Wednesday.

Despite their defeat, Grayson County saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Adam Pennington, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. That's the most points Pennington has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Avion Gambill, who posted six points.

Meanwhile, Radford was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 41-40 to Salem.
