Academy of Notre Dame came out on top against Nashoba Valley Tech on Friday thanks in part to Gigi Perna's efforts. Perna wasn't messing around, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The game was her third straight with at least one stolen base.
Perna and Academy of Notre Dame will welcome Shawsheen Valley Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since May of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
