Batavia is a perfect 4-0 against Kaneland since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Knights at 10:00 a.m. Batavia's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Batavia came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Wheaton-Warrenville South.

Meanwhile, Kaneland waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand IC Catholic Prep a 3-0 shutout. Considering Kaneland has won ten contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaneland pushed their record up to 16-5-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those nine matches. As for Batavia, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1.

Batavia beat Kaneland by a goal in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 1-0. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
