Volleyball Recap: Capital Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Capital was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Flathead Braves/Bravettes. The Bruins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Braves/Bravettes earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Capital actually scored more points across those five sets (105-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 16-25, 25-21, 17-25, 15-11.

Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Flathead, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Capital will square off against rival Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Flathead is set to take on their familiar foe Glacier at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
