Spring scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 68-67 to the Bryan Vikings. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

The defeat snapped Spring's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-9 record. As for Bryan, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Spring has already played their next matchup, a 56-54 victory against Montgomery on the 13th. As for Bryan, they are taking a road trip to take on Brenham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
