Baseball Recap: Maimonides Comes Up Short on the Road Against Watertown

Maimonides had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Watertown Raiders, falling 22-4. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Maimonides saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was D GIR, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Watertown now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maimonides will take on Nashoba Valley Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Watertown, they will face off against Lexington at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
