Softball Preview: Bristol Eastern Lancers vs. Conard Red Wolves
Bristol Eastern has gone a perfect 4-0 against Conard recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Lancers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Red Wolves at 3:45 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bristol Eastern took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Hall as they made off with a 15-3 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Lancers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Hailey Beebe made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
