Volleyball Recap: Melbourne Central Catholic Comes Up Short

The Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers came up short against the Lake Howell Silverhawks on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-9, 25-10.

Brooke White paced Melbourne Central Catholic's offense, picking up five kills. White got some help from Jessica Smith and her 12 assists.

Lake Howell can attribute much of their success to Gladianis Agosto Rivera, who had 18 assists and three aces.

Melbourne Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lake Howell, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Melbourne Central Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Edgewood on the 26th. As for Lake Howell, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against University on the 21st.
