Basketball Game Preview: GRACE Christian Eagles vs. South Wake Sabres

The GRACE Christian Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the South Wake Sabres at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.

It was a Battle of the Birds when GRACE Christian faced off against Ravenscroft on Monday. GRACE Christian came up short against Ravenscroft, falling 63-39. The Eagles have struggled against the Ravens recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, South Wake put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Freedom Christian Academy to the tune of 69-23. The Sabres have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 24 points or more this season.

South Wake's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0. As for GRACE Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

GRACE Christian was dealt a bruising 54-24 loss at the hands of South Wake in their previous meeting back in January of 2022. Can GRACE Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
