Soccer Game Preview: Pickerington North vs. New Albany

The Pickerington North Panthers will head out to challenge the New Albany Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pickerington North is headed into Tuesday's matchup following a draw, the team's first since August 28. They and Olentangy Liberty finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Thursday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, New Albany was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lakota West. New Albany have struggled against Lakota West recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

New Albany's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1. Pickerington North's draw makes their record 6-3-4 this season.

Pickerington North took their victory against New Albany when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
