Softball Recap: East St. John Has No Trouble Against St. Mary's Academy

East St. John made up a huge gap compared to their last game against St. Mary's Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The East St. John Wildcats were the clear victor by a 24-8 margin over the St. Mary's Academy Cougars on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

East St. John's record is now 4-2. As for St. Mary's Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.

Looking ahead, East St. John is taking a road trip to face off against Metairie Park Country Day at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Mary's Academy has already played their next contest (against Liberty Magnet), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
