Recap: Frewsburg Bears vs. Westfield Wolverines
The Frewsburg Bears and the Westfield Wolverines squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Frewsburg Bears had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to the Wolverines. Frewsburg's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Frewsburg still got an impressive performance from Gavin Smith, who shot 4-for-8 from long range and dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. Smith hasn't dropped below 16 points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Garrett Brink, who scored 17 points.
Frewsburg's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Westfield, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-2.
Frewsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westfield also has no future games currently scheduled.
