MaKayla Keys Game Report: vs Bruton

On Thursday MaKayla Keys racked up double-digit assists for the very first time. She dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten assists, helping propel Lafayette past Bruton by a score of 56-34. We marked that as the best effort she's had all season, even better than her performance on December17th, 2024 (when she posted seven points in addition to nine steals and six assists) (Gamescore: 23.7 vs. 20.2).

Keys will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when she faces off against New Kent on Tuesday. The Rams got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Trojans, probably because Keys had a solid game then too: she scored four points along with five assists and three steals.
