Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Martha's Vineyard Regional). They walked away with a 10-7 win over the Barnstable Red Hawks on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Vineyarders considering their two-run performance the game before.

The team relied heavily on Hunter Johnson, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Mediros, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Martha's Vineyard Regional's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Barnstable, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-9-1.

Coming up, Martha's Vineyard Regional will challenge East Bridgewater at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Barnstable, they will take on Falmouth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
