Volleyball Game Preview: Nevada Union Miners vs. Sierra Timberwolves

The Nevada Union Miners will take on the Sierra Timberwolves in a tournament on Saturday. Nevada Union will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Nevada Union made easy work of Placer and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Nevada Union walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-23, 25-10, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Sierra posted their closest victory since October 29, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Mountain House 3-2.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (103-101) Sierra actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 18-25, 18-25, 15-13.

Nevada Union now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Sierra, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
