West Carteret hasn't had much luck against Swansboro recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Patriots will look to defend their home pitch against the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

West Carteret fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Croatan on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. One reason for the loss might be West Carteret's aggressive play style: Manuel Dominguez and Dalton Klorres were both handed yellow cards.
