Baseball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian fell victim to Lakeside School and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 24-0 to the Lakeside School Chiefs. The Eagles have struggled against the Chiefs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lakeside School, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-2 record this season.

Trinity Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Abbeville Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 31st. As for Lakeside School, they will take on Hope Christian Academy on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Hope Christian Academy sitting on three straight victories and Lakeside School on nine.
