Volleyball Game Preview: Jordan Beetdiggers vs. Cottonwood Colts + How To Watch

The Jordan Beetdiggers are taking a road trip to face off against the Cottonwood Colts at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cottonwood took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Jordan, who comes in off a win.

Jordan took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Judge Memorial Catholic with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Beetdiggers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0).

Jordan never let Judge Memorial Catholic on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Cottonwood came up short against Juan Diego Catholic on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Colts have struggled against the Soaring Eagle recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-21.

Cottonwood's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Jordan, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-13.

Jordan was able to grind out a solid victory over Cottonwood in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Beetdiggers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
